Concept
Could a cheap material be refined to improve its sensory experience? This question started the journey in exploring the design of textile patterns. The ideation phase revolved around the use of the disposable cotton-wool pad, which as an end-result produced designed patterns. These patterns converted the simple surface into a three-dimensional geometric shape. The end goal was to give the body a protective, armor-like case. The images aim to explore the borders and intimate relationship between the body and the encasing that our garments form.
